| Stringer House is one of the original ten Houses of the school and is still in its original location. It is named after Alderman Sidney Stringer who was a former Lord Mayor of Coventry City Council.
There have only been four Househeads of Stringer House, Mr William Edney (1954-78), Mr Ivan Borgan (1978-81) and Mr Malcolm Couldwell (1981 –2009) and now Mrs Newman, from September 2009. This means that Stringer House has had much stability and that the students have had consistency of leadership and values. Stringer House is a friendly place where students can develop their social skills in a warm and caring environment.
