| Responsibilities and Duties |

Head Boy
- To provide outstanding leadership and support to the House.
- To lead by example and always conduct themselves in a positive way.
- To attend and support sporting events and House activities.
- To attend year six induction evening.
- To be a member of McLachlan House council
- To help run and organise the student mentoring initiative
- To take part in a Year 11 House assembly.

Deputy Head Boys
- To provide outstanding leadership and support to the House.
- To lead by example and always conduct themselves in a positive way.
- To attend and support sporting events and House activities.
- To compile a House duty list and to inform students each week of their duty responsibilities and to ensure they are carried out.
- To have responsibility of giving DT’s and to use this in a fair and responsible way.

Sports Captains
- To provide outstanding leadership and support to the House.
- To lead by example and always conduct themselves in a positive way.
- To attend and support sporting events and House activities.
- To promote participation in House sports
- To read out House teams in assembly
- To help compile match reports.
- To present trophies to victorious teams.
- To assist in training sessions for House events where possible.
- To assist in the purchasing of new sports kit for the House.

Deputy Sports Captain

- To lead by example and always conduct themselves in a positive way.
- To attend and support sporting events and House activities.
- To promote participation in House sports
- To assist in training sessions for House events where possible.
- To assist the Sports Captain in his duties.
- To help monitor organise and collect House sports kit.

Tutor Monitors
- To provide outstanding leadership and support to the House.
- To lead by example and always conduct themselves in a positive way.
- To attend tutor periods and assist with equipment and log book checks.
- To provide advice and general assistance to junior students in your group.
- To assist tutors in year appropriate duties. e.g :- Year 7 Induction day, sporting events, options etc.

Senior Prefects
- To contribute to the updating of the House
- To lead by example and always conduct themselves in a positive way.
- To assist in after school activities such as inter House sports.
- To be a good role model and demonstrate a positive way in which to behave.
- To monitor the appearance particularly uniform of younger boys in the House.
- To ensure House duties are carried out instructing younger pupils of their responsibilities
- To keep track of boys who are lack and distribute lines at lunch time
